Of course, the difficulty of this is that anyone subscribing to several substacks is pretty quickly priced out of adding more substacks. So sending best wishes, but I'm at the end of my financial tether on this one. I also support several local and state newpapers as well as a couple of national news publications and two international ones. All important to do. That's me done.
I am committed to creating a list of underserved food banks in the United States and donating to those food banks as I feel for me the priority is feeding hungry people. So I won’t be subscribing, but I am very grateful that you are publishing post for everyone to read. Thank you.
Thanks but no thanks. I sincerely appreciate your work, but part of the reason people are so uninformed is because all of the paywalls have made the truth financially unavailable. When the only free information is AM radio and your local news owned by Sinclair, no wonder so many people are in the dark.
I feel like more pages are doing this. While I respect the attempt to retain a quality conversation, I'll be unsubscribing from your page. There is no reason for me to stay when the conversation and certain posts are behind a paywall.
To a poor guy who can't afford a large subscription (After being employed as a journalist for 40 years, I'm now on SNAP payments and Social Security along with just being evicted from my home of 25 years) I'd appreciate hearing from you maybe once a week.
I have been curious about your substack, but have not been able to find out or figure who you are. I subscribe to those whose names I know. Some anonymous "team" does not speak to my need for political transparency in 2025. Shilling for the Dems is fine, but we need to know who you are before paying you to shill.

Subscribed. Thanks for making it affordable. There are so many Substacks worth reading, and I can't afford them all.
Janice- can you please tell me what a subscription costs?
Thanks
Yesterday, they ran a 40%off special, so it was only $30.

I’m an Australian and won’t be paying.
