Massachusetts here we are definitely a blue state. Please be the voice of reason. We definitely need more levelheaded educated people in these seats to fight this madness that is happening. It’s not about red or blue. It’s about doing the right thing. You know that this craziness has to stop. Please help make this happen.🫶🫶🫶

I’ll believe it when I see it, but it sure would be great. Sen Murkowski has always seemed better than the Republican Party. Soon, we’ll know whether she is.

Don't get sucked in with this article. It ain't happening. The republican regime can not be trusted.

I do agree with that! Not trusting them - any of them. It’s a strange thing. Until recent years, there were always outstanding Republicans. Sadly, I think the Republican Party is dead and gone, replaced with MAGAs.

If anyone sights a real Republican in the wild, please snap a picture and post it.

Listen to her exact words. She's not announcing a party change.

That isn’t even close to what she said. She isn’t going to switch.

Thank you. You see right through it. Just like I do. The title is so misleading.

I’d say the title is “optimistic” rather than “misleading”.

She didn't really say that. It was quite nuanced.

Click-bait title not appreciated. She didn’t say she is switching. Still a great interview with meaningful insights.

“That’s right. Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski said it’s possible she will switch parties and start caucusing with Democrats.” Your lead-in is completely misleading! She never said this.

Not happening. We need to stop giving these republicans the benefit of the doubt. Look where it got us.

Please stop praising Senator Lisa. She will NEVER become a Democrat. Let's not delude ourselves. She's more a coward than anything else. She went to a townhall and told her constituents she was afraid. Seriously? You are a US senator for godsake! If you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen. Simple as that. What Democrats and independents need to be focusing on ( and not getting sidetracked or distracted) is looking into November 2026 and voting every single hypocrite, enabler, capitulator out of office! They aren't working for the people. But for the project 2025 tech bro billionaire oligarchs. Giving her air and putting a title such as "A soon to be Democrat." Is highly misleading. 🤨😐

Completely agree. I'm angrier with this substack for giving this BS any airtime than I am at her for all the ways she's failed to do the right thing and yet people still put the focus on her. It's infuriating and pathetic.

Exactly! This isn't about whether she's thinking of switching parties or not. Because any sensible being knows she not. I mean she literally said it. I'm not doing something that I am not. So there. Why push it? She needs to stay in her lane. And talk to her other republican colleagues and tell them to grow a damn backbone and impeach the orange mother fucker. Excuse my language. But this "party" pisses me off because they're playing with people's lives. Millions can die without health care and seniors without their social security. And many other things.

If you listen to the interview ,she NEVER says she would switch parties. She clearly states that she didn’t switch to the Libertarian party ,when being urged to ,and doesn’t agree with most Democratic Party policies. She does encourage the “ concept” of bipartisanship …

I can say she doesn’t make me want to shoot porcupine quills through a pea shooter at her ,so there is that 😜✌️

I watched that interview. And nowhere did she say she was about to become a democrat. These kind of headlines really undermine your credibility. Please, let the headlines reflect what the article or video ACTUALLY says. Please, please, skip the network news hyperbole. We just don’t need any more of that.

I'm sorry, but this is propaganda trying to give false and misplaced hope. She did not say anything of the sort, not even close. It appears we're so desperate we have to try and falsely claim Republicans as our own because we've lost so much hope in Democrats. This is indeed a dark day.

She should seriously consider becoming an independent. A lot of Alaskans don’t have warm feelings for democrats. I grew up in Alaska and currently have two siblings who follow alternate fact news sources. We are no longer on speaking terms.
