And there’s certainly nothing beautiful about sending our national debt skyrocketing just to please wealthy donors.
From every corner of the country, Democrats are coming back to Washington because they understand what this moment means. They know that our values—the very core of what it means to be American—are on the line.
This isn’t just a legislative fight. It’s a moral fight.
Do we believe that prosperity should be shared, or hoarded by the wealthiest few? Do we believe that every child deserves a full belly and a chance to thrive? Do we believe that seniors who worked a lifetime deserve dignity in retirement, not fear over losing Medicaid?
